Victoria Lindsay was ganged up on by a group of teens when she walked into a home on March 30, 2008. She lost consciousness after they hit her on the head numerous times and when she awoke she was held against her will and beaten again for a full 30 minutes.

Techpresident.com, which tracks political Internet trends, had similar findings. Its data show that Obama has about seven times as many Facebook supporters as McCain and about 10 times as many YouTube hits.

As a Gen-Xer, I don't thank the Boomers for much, but as a new Dad I absolutely thank them for this and hope the trend towards time spent with family (true family values as opposed to what the extreme right espouses) becomes part of what it means to be American and not just being industrial and working long hours.
